These vines are aged between 45 and 70 years old. They lie just below the First Growth Les Carelles and are perfectly oriented to catch sunshine at full strength. Soils are shallow, being rich in clay, iron and pebbles. In colour, this is purple-ruby of medium depth, the aromas calling up thoughts of ripe red cherries and cherry blossom. Palate is generously mouth-filling and juicy, with precise structure, very pretty texture, harmonious freshness and lovely length (for drinking 2020-2028+).
