Indigenous to the Alto Adige, this Schiava comes from the oldest Kurtatsch vineyards, growing between 300 and 400 metres above sea-level. These old vines produce naturally low yields of high-quality grapes. The 2019 is very pretty, pale, glinting ruby. The aromas are floral and enticing, with rich notes of raspberries and fresh orange zest. This is a lively, medium bodied wine, with vibrant fruitiness, stony minerality, and a buoyantly fresh finish.
