Muletiers comes from 2 parcels of 30 year-old vines planted on pure granite soils. It aged for 14 months in oak barrels, of which 20% were new. Deep ruby- purple, aroma has dark fruit character with floral, sweetly spiced nuances. This is fuller, more tightly concentrated and has more power than the Méribets (above), but has equal finesse and harmony. Middle- palate is juicy, the finish being fine and freshly tannic (for drinking 2020-2026+).
