Vines have thrived in the mountainous north-west flank of Corsica since the 13th Century. Etienne Suzzoni is a leading light in this “Corse-Calvi” region, with 55 hectares under vine.
A new discovery for 2018 – to join the red and white we currently ship from the domaine – this lively 2017 rosé is a blend of indigenous Nielluciu (Sangiovese) and Sciaccarellu, with a little Grenache. Very pale pink colour, aromas are lifted and attractive, recalling fresh strawberries and delicate rose petals. This is a dry, fresh, light, linear wine, with excellent core of red berry fruit, creamy texture and a long, elegant length.
