Located on the hillside leading up from the village of Milly, just above the Domaine, the Premier Cru Côte de Léchet is a chalky-soiled, east-facing vineyard that benefits from the early morning sun. Year on year, it is this wine that shows the greatest minerality and potential for ageing in the Dampt cellar. Glistening lemon-green, the nose is tightly woven and spicy, with lifted citrus aromas. The palate is powerful, intensely layered and silkily textured, with stony freshness and a pure, long, crisp finish (for drinking 2018-2024+).
