2016 was a successful harvest for Domaine Dampt, giving a more typical Chablis style than 2015, with better acidity levels. There is not oak used here, allowing for the purity of the grapes and the expression of the chalk slopes to shine. The aromas are very fragrant, being fresh and attractive. Ripe, clean and supple in texture, there is a lemony zip to this wine and a lovely stony finish.
