Located to the south of the village of Loupiac, in Bordeaux`s Entre-Deux-Mers, Château du Cros commands unrivalled views across the river Garonne. The estate`s dry Sauvignon is from grapes that grow on the limestone plateau above the castle – this elevation contributes a bright energy and vivacity to this wine. Here, Sauvignon Blanc is blended with Sauvignon Gris (80% / 20%) to give a beautifully scented, light-bodied wine that combines zippy citrus flavours with a satisfyingly creamy texture. The finish is long and refreshing.
