Just 3 barrels of this gorgeous Premier Cru have been made in 2016. The soils here are thin and stony giving a fine-boned, mineral Puligny style. Strikingly bright in colour, with glimmers of green and gold, aromas are concentrated, perfumed, very pure, following through to a full bodied palate, packed full of intense, spicy lemon and stone fruit flavours. This wine has a beautiful streak of mineral backbone from start to finish, acidity being racy, the finish energetic and intensely long-flavoured. This will be a spectacular bottle (for drinking from 2019–2024+).
