The soils where these 90 year-old vines grow are rich in limestone, giving intense fruit and liveliness to this wine. Alcoholic and malo-lactic fermentations both took place in oak barrels (of which 15% were new), as did maturation until end July 2018, then the wine rested in tank until bottling in November. Colour is green-gold, aromas being cleanly fruity, open and fresh. Palate shows medium body, intense fruitiness, with very pretty texture, good balance and lovely, refreshing finish. Great value (for drinking 2019-2022+).
