This comes from higher altitude vineyards than most red Beaunes – apt for Chardonnay planting – which are now managed by Olivier Leflaive. The wine is pale golden, with acacia and pear aromas. Palate is richly structured, with ample, ripe fruit concentration, finishing fresh. Once again, an exceptional cuvee, and brilliant value (for drinking 2019-2024+).
