The Quincy appellation neighbours Reuilly, this wine coming from the pebbly, Villalin vineyard, on the right bank of the River Cher. This stony, riverside location gives a wine of great minerality to complement fruit clarity. With Jacques having retired in December 2017, Beaune graduate Côme continues in his father’s footsteps. The 2018 is a bright lemon/green colour, with very intense, ripe lemony aromas. There is piercing freshness in the mouth, with wonderful purity and a fine, silky texture. The finish is concentrated, crisp and stony.
