Pierrette and Marc Guillemot-Michel were pioneers of biodynamic winemaking in Burgundy in the early 1990s. 2016 is the first vintage of this Cuvée Charleston, which is from 100-year-old Chardonnay vines planted by Pierrette`s great-grandfather when he returned home from the First World War. The wine has been made in a single, ten-year-old, 600 litre demi-muid, of the type used for winemaking at domaine in the early 20th century. Tiny production with this first vintage, which is a magnificent, captivating wine – we only have 12 bottles to spread around.
