The soils where these 90 year-old vines grow are rich in limestone, giving intense fruit and liveliness to this wine. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentations both took place in oak barrels (of which approx. 15% were new), as did maturation until the end of August 2019, then the wine rested in tank until bottling in November. Colour is pale golden, and aromas in October were light and fresh. Palate was full and rich, with excellent fruit intensity, good length and a crisp, fine finish (for drinking 2020-2024+).
