Dampt`s Village Chablis comes predominantly from old, 40-45 year-old vines that grow near the family Domaine, in the hamlet of Milly. There is no oak used here, allowing the individual character of the Chardonnay grape, grown on the chalky hillsides, to be crystal-clear. Colour is bright, pale lemon-green with very fresh, pure lemony aromas. This is a lively, intense, bright wine, with rounded body, admirable concentration and a zesty, crisp finish.
