This is a tiny 1st Growth vineyard of only 1.2 hectares, one of Meursault’s best kept secrets. Always one of the Domaine’s last vineyards to be picked, the long, slow ripening allows complex flavours to develop, while acidity gently falls. The vines average 60 years of age, and lie at the top of the slope, abutting 1st Growth Puligny-Montrachet and Meursault vines. Green-golden in colour, this has piercingly fresh aromas. Palate shows intense fruit, medium body, fine balance and excellent length (for drinking 2020-2024+).
