2020 Rully Montagne La Folie, Domaine Claudie Jobard

This comes from a hillside vineyard to Rully’s north, lying just below 1st Growth Clos du Chaigne. The vineyard is pebble-rich and quite steep, always one of Claudie`s first to ripen. The wine was entirely fermented in small, oak barrels, of which 15% were new. Colour is pale lemon-gold, with very open, ripe, citrusy aromas. Palate is medium-bodied, rich, soft and fresh (for drinking 2021-2023+).
