2021 Petit Chablis, Domaine Daniel Dampt

The Dampt`s started planting their Petit Chablis plot 16 years ago. “It is near our block of Village Chablis vines” explains Vincent Dampt, “on the plateau in Fyé. There is a lot of limestone, and we needed a crusher to break the rocks, to enable the vines to be planted.” This 2021 is lemon-gold in colour, with attractive, tight, lemon-floral aroma. Palate shows dancing fruit, light and energetic, finishing fresh and beautifully clean.
