The Moreau’s Valmur is broad, more muscular style of Chablis, compared with the Domaine`s other Grands Crus. The vines average 50 years in age, the majority of which benefit from a sun-catching, south-east exposure. To complement this, there is a cooler north-west facing parcel, which brings vivacity to the blend. Aromas are attractive, ripe and concentrated, recalling white peach and fresh lemons. Palate is powerfully built and gorgeously perfumed, with a silky texture, and a long-lasting, bright finish (for drinking 2018-2025+).
