Typically, the Blain’s La Boudriotte takes a year or two in bottle to soften and show its full complexities: this 2016 will be true to form. Colour is lively, green golden, with attractive, delicately spiced lemon aromas. Palate shows intensely concentrated, tightly-knit fruit. This has great, underlying power, lifted by glorious vivacity and freshness (for superb drinking from 2019-2024+).
