These vines were planted over 60 years ago, in 1955, yet are still – in part thanks to bio-dynamic cultivation – full of youthful vigour. Colour is deeper, green-golden than the Bâtard-Montrachet, with aromas which show outstanding floral complexity. Palate is creamy, elegant, complete and long – and totally impossible to spit, so beautiful it was when tasting in November 2017! All elements have merged together to form the personality of this wine: perfect fruit ripeness, balancing acidity, mouth-coating, gentle texture and unforgettable length of flavour (for drinking 2019-2028+).
