2021 Malagousia, Domaine Zafeirakis, Tirnavos

Christos Zafeirakis` 14 hectare, organically farmed domaine is located in Tirnavos, in the foothills of Mount Olympus. The indigeonous Malagousia grape enjoys the region`s warm, dry climate, having the ability to retain precious, bright acidity when at full ripeness, resulting in wines with body, fragrance and freshness. Pale lemon-gold in the glass, aromas are delicate and floral, with notes of white peach, apricot and fennel seed. This is full bodied and supple on the palate, having richness and perfume, and attractive mineral character. The finish is clean, pithy and crisp.
