2019 Chardonnay Caliz, Kellerei Kurtatsch, Alto Adige

This beautiful Chardonnay is full of flavour yet has a vibrant freshness that enlivens the palate, thanks to the 300-400m altitude at which these vines grow. Very pale lemon-gold colour, nose is very pure and delicately fragrant, recalling lemons and white peaches. Palate is a bright, precise, citrusy mouthful, with supple texture and a racy, mineral back-note – we particularly encourage lovers of good Chablis or Mâcon not miss this.
