2021 Pinot Bianco, Kellerei Kurtatsch, Alto Adige

Pinot Bianco thrives on cool hillside slopes, where its natural richness and roundness is finely lifted by invigorating acidity. This example from Kurtatsch exudes mountain freshness and purity. The vines grow on gravelly, limestone dolomite, giving the wine a stony minerality on the palate Pale lemon-green in colour, aromas are clean and delicately floral: fresh pear and lemon. Palate is light bodied, having a supple, silky texture, finishing fresh and lively.
