From a 12 hectare walled Clos, this cuvée is made from the second of successive harvesting sweeps of the vineyard. This gives grapes of perfect balance between ripeness and acidity. All the natural sugars are completely fermented to leave a dry, concentrated wine. Colour is bright golden green with multi-layered aromas of fresh lemon peel, apricot and spices. The palate is luscious and creamy, but with great tension and lift. The texture is silky smooth and there is tremendous depth of flavour. A very fine wine with a great future (for drinking 2019 – 2028+).
