2021 Quincy Villalin, Domaine Jacques Rouzé

2021 is a particularly zesty, crisp vintage for Jacques Rouzé`s Quincy. This wine comes from the pebbly Villalin vineyard, on the right bank of the River Cher. The stony, riverside location gives a wine of great minerality to complement vivid fruit. With a very pale lemon-green colour, aromas are clean and lively, with intense notes of lime and gooseberry. On the palate, there is piercing Sauvignon freshness, body being light, texture silky. The finish is racy and bright.
