Fonseca 2017 is a powerful and sumptuous wine of great beauty. The nose is wonderfully complex, showing violets, rich berry fruits, and stony freshness. There are layers of texture on the palate, being creamy and mouth coating, with deep flavours and great structure. Tannins are dense and seamless, with complex flavours and impressive length. A complete wine (for drinking 2025-2055+).
