Cave de Bissey
Tracking down value in Burgundy
We are thrilled to introduce three new discoveries to our Burgundy range, from the excellent Cave de Bissey. Located in the heart of the Côte Chalonnaise, the Cave de Bissey was one of the first winegrowers’ co-operatives to be established in Burgundy, in 1928. It comprises 40 families, whose vines lie across 100 hectares in and around the commune of Bissey-sous-Cruchaud, 10 miles south-west of Chalon-sur-Saône. Resources are pooled to produce a brilliant range of wines, which offer superb value – £14-16, by the case.
Here, we launch a light, supple Bourgogne Côte Chalonnaise Chardonnay alongside two, refreshing Crémants.
