Exceptional Loire Wines from Domaine de la Taille aux Loups

We are thrilled to have made a fresh shipment of the Blot family’s elegant, 2022 vintage Chenin Blancs from Montlouis. Domaine de la Taille aux Loups was established by Jacky Blot in 1988. During his career, he carved a reputation as one of the Loire’s great winemakers, focussing on parcel selections and terroir transparency in a region where Chenin thrives. Jacky sadly passed away in May 2023, but his son Jean-Philippe continues his legacy, having worked side-by-side with his father for many years. In these wines we find pure, gentle aromatics aligned with textural roundness and complexity brought by meticulous barrel ageing.

We also feature one of Jean-Philippe’s excellent reds from Cabernet Franc vines grown at their Domaine de la Butte in Bourgueil. Both whites and red offer exceptional value, and will give immediate and future pleasure.
