This Cru Muscadet matured on lees for 52 months before bottling in spring 2024. The combination of granitic soils, maritime location and the longer ageing has given a wine that retains Muscadet`s classic lightness but also has incredible precision and intensity of flavour. Very pale lemon-gold, aromas are taut and airy, with notes of lime, fennel seed and oyster shell. Palate is tight, chisseled and pure, having vibrantly focused flavours and a long, saline, racy finish. We particularly recommend this as a side-step to zippy styles of Premier Cru Chablis.
