These grapes were harvested from two plots where the vines are more than 40 years old. They lie downhill from Chassagne’s road to Santenay, 2/3 coming from La Platière, with the remaining 1/3 being tiny Pinot grapes from Les Lombardes. This is not deeply coloured, but is freshly bright purple, all the way to the rim. Nose is open and fragrant, palate vibrantly fruity, with gentle freshness, no rough edges and good length (for drinking 2023-2028+).
