This 2021 Hosanna has been assembled from three lots of old Cabernet Franc vines (dating back to 1956), which account for 25% of the blend, with Merlot the balance. It is one of Pomerol’s smallest properties (just over 4 hectares in production), the vines lying entirely on the plateau, surrounded by the vineyards of Lafleur, Vieux Château Certan, Certan de May and La Fleur-Pétrus. Colour is deep purple, aromas pungent and fresh. Palate combines concentrated fruitiness with the most charming of textures, finishing with fine, balanced tannins. This will develop into a sumptuous, gorgeously silky wine (for drinking 2025-2037+).
