This wine comes from two First Growth plots within Morgeot: Les Brussonnes and Les Boirettes, both planted more than 85 years ago. They lie between the Abbaye de Morgeot and the Santenay commune border. These are really fine Pinots, giving small bunches with tiny, thick-skinned grapes, regularly low yielding. Colour is bright, rich purple, aromas are flamboyant, fresh and open. The palate shows concentrated fruitiness, good structure, rich, well-rounded tannins and excellent potential for smoothness and complexity (for drinking 2026-2035+).
