2022 Domaine de Gournier Rouge, Cévennes

The Cévennes is a mountainous region on the eastern edge of the Massif Central. The vineyards here benefit from Mediterranean sunshine and mountain freshness. A blend of Merlot and Syrah, this 2022 has a deep ruby colour, aromas recalling black bramble fruits and perfumed garrigue herbs. This is a full bodied, juicy wine which brings together Merlot`s fleshy textures and Syrah`s perfume and fresh structure. The finish is charming and well balanced.
