Description

The vineyards for our Macon-Prissé contain a high content of calcareous clay, contributing to the depth and supple texture of this wine. This 2022 has a very pale lemon-green colour, aromas being lively and scented, recalling fresh peach and lemon. Palate is light and zippy, having pure, citrus flavours. There is lovely brightness of linear acidity to balance the wine`s natural richness and ripeness, the finish being harmonious.

The Cave des Vignerons des Terres Secrètes is a co-operative wine cellar located in the Mâconnais. It comprises 120 growers, whose vineyards extend over 910 hectares across the region. These growers share resources, with the wines being made in a modern facility in Prissé. Authenticity and modernity are key values here, and the consistent drive for quality whilst maintaining sensible pricing explains our long-standing relationship with them. The Mâcon-Prissé they supply to us has been one of our longest standing white wine listings
