As you climb up the narrow valley behind Pommard, this vineyard is to your right, facing south-west. 70% whole clusters went into the fermentation vat, and the wine has aged in 60% new barrels. This is bright red-purple of medium depth, the nose being open, rich and fresh. It is hillside Pommard, showing finesse and length, with complex, intense fruitiness and admirably soft tannins on the finish (for drinking 2026-2032+).
Please note, this In Bond wine is limited to 2 cases online. More may be available: please call 020 7584 7927 or email to enquire further.
