Founded in Alsace in 1870, Massenez is a small, quality-focused family distillery making exceptional, small batch Eaux de Vie and Liqueurs. This Crème de Cassis is made by macerating the finest Burgundian blackcurrants with spirit to produce a very intense liqueur. Deep ruby ??colour, aromas are richly scented and fruity. Flavours explode in the mouth, texture being silken, the finish is sweet but with harmony brought by a brightness of acidity. This is sublime neat as a digestif, but is also delicious as an apéritif, topped with crisp white wine or champagne and served as a Kir or Kir Royale.
