Jean-Claude Marsanne

Jean-Claude Marsanne lives and works in Mauves in the southern part of Saint-Joseph. He took over the family domaine in the early 90s, inheriting his father’s meticulous approach to farming as well as his unflashy, traditional winemaking approach: native yeasts, long, slow fermentations, maturation in old demi-muids. Now joined by daughters Clémence and Marjorie, Jean-Claude continues in this vein. The first vintage we shipped was the 2010, and his brilliant, terroir-transparent, age-worthy Saint-Joseph has become a firm HH&C favourite.
