Domaine des Lambrays
2019 Burgundy En Primeur
This lovely property was acquired by Bernard Arnault, the head of Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy, back in 2015. His portfolio of great wines includes Cheval-Blanc, d’Yquem and Colgin Cellars, so it is not surprising that he is in the process of up-grading the facilities at Lambrays, where we have been buying these beautiful wines for three decades.
2019 is the first vintage since the arrival of Jacques Devauges as manager and wine-maker, in March 2019. His previous experiences had been at Domaine de l’Arlot in Nuits-Saint-Georges, and Domaine du Clos de Tart, the Lambrays neighbour in Morey-Saint-Denis. He is profoundly steeped in great wine-making on the Côte de Nuits, and steadily introducing carefully thought-through improvements, with respect for the traditions here.
We are delighted to offer the Domaine’s three spectacular 2019 reds en primeur. With volumes incredibly limited, please contact us with your requests as soon as possible. We will confirm allocations by the end of March.
These wine are offered in bond UK, for delivery winter 2021.
