2018 Fonseca Guimaraens

Fonseca Guimaraens 2018 is a beautifully seductive wine. The nose combines rich, dark, woodland berry fruits, with notes of violets and liquorice. Palate is powerful and intense with very fine fruitiness, flinty minerality, velvety mouthfeel and a long, seamless finish. “It is worth mentioning that the 2018 Ports have the highest colour intensity of recent vintages, always a sign of good extraction and longevity.” says winemaker David Guimaraens. With this in mind, we recommend drinking this from 2030-2045+.
