This is the 6th vintage running we have pounced on this wine to secure some. The grapes come from vines which are more than 40 years old. Burgundy-lovers will relish its vibrant Grand Cru fruit density, its harmony, its length of flavour. Grapes were 100% de-stemmed, and the wine aged in 50% new oak barrels. Colour is deep, ruby-purple, and aromas bright and ebullient. Palate shows rich, mouth-coating fruitiness, good flesh, well-rounded tannins and splendid length (for drinking 2026-2038).
