These vines are on a steeply-sloping hillside, on the same contour as Corton Clos du Roi, and lying above Corton-Bressandes. Planted around 1963, they are hitting 60. Colour is ruby-purple of medium depth, aromas are spectacular. On the palate, this has splendid density, precise, fresh fruitiness and rich, fresh aftertaste, showing great potential for complexity and smoothness (for drinking 2028-2040+).
