Clos des Issarts is a little-known, tiny 1st Growth, just north of the high part of Grand Cru Ruchottes-Chambertin, and situated on similar contours. It is now regularly vinified separately by Faiveley, and we are thrilled to offer it again. The plot is divided into two terraces, the upper one bringing richness and power, the lower one floral notes and finesse. This 2022 is deep, ruby-purple in colour, with open aromas which are fresh and spicy. Palate is full-structured, with vibrant fruitiness, richly smooth tannins and impressive length (fordrinking 2027-2035+).
