This is from Pierre’s walled Clos de Cuminaille vineyard, planted in 1981, which lies in the slopes of Malleval. Deep ruby-purple, aromas are captivatingly attractive, being full of floral black cherries. Palate is striking for its velvety texture and bounteous middle fruit. The high elevation shines through in its airiness and lift, balancing natural richness. There is beautiful, fine concentration, precise structure and super length (for drinking 2025-2032+).
