Daniel Dampt and his sons Vincent and Sébastien make very pure wines, with the crisply dry, long finish of signature Chablis. Oak casks are never used on their First Growths, allowing the individual characters to shine through intensely. The estate was among the first to pick in 2022, beginning on 1st September, to capture natural acidities as well as the rich sugars which had built up during the dry summer. Grapes were very healthy, giving a vintage that is charming and beautiful.
