Stéphane Ogier has built a reputation as one of the Rhône’s most highly respected winemakers. His family domaine has superb vineyard holdings in and around Côte Rôtie, as well as in the valley’s southern stretches. Following studies in Beaune, Stéphane joined his father, Michel, in 1997, before taking over in 2003. His time spent in Burgundy is reflected in the elegance and finesse of his wines – both red and white. In vines and winery, precision and attention to tiny detail are key elements to his success. He strives for the highest quality at every level of his range, producing wines that have a seductive quality.
