Château de Bousval – 2022 Vintage En Primeur

Bousval is a tiny jewel, just 9 hectares of vines, in the heartland of Wallonia, owned and run by Michel Verhaeghe de Naeyer. This is not yet a well-known wine region, but Chardonnay thrives here, giving a cool-climate style that for quality, comfortably sits alongside top-level Chablis.

We were thrilled to introduce the wines of this organic certified, Belgian estate to the UK two years ago, with the 2019 vintage. Following a visit this autumn, en route to Burgundy, we were struck by the brilliance of their 2022 wines. If you love to drink pure, intricate Chardonnay with naturally low-alcohol levels, this really is for you.

Here we offer two 2022 vintage Chardonnays, en primeur. Shipment will be in late spring 2024.
