We spent a productive week in January, tasting our way around some of the standout properties in Bordeaux. Not the grand, expensive Châteaux, but the less known stars who strive to make high-quality wines at reasonable prices.

On the back of this trip, we are thrilled to present one of our strongest selections of spring Bordeaux shipments to date. In an inflationary market, we are delighted to have no fewer than 7 brand new listings which fall under the £14 mark. These include two superb 2016s – Château Corconnac, Haut-Médoc and Château Coustolle, Canon-Fronsac – and a classy 2019 Graves (Château Beauregard Ducasse). We are lucky to be in a purple patch of available vintages, and our long-standing relationships with Bordeaux suppliers have enabled us to source terrific bottles from 2019 back to the fully mature and sumptuous 2012s.
