Brothers Francesco and Luca Guermani run this beautiful, Piedmont property, whose 9 hectares of vines lie in the hills outside the village of Treiso. Respect for the soil and sustainable agriculture are key to their philosophy – the use of pesticides was stopped in 2012, with progressive organic conversion leading to certification in 2019. Their mission is to seek the highest quality in their wines, respecting the vintage and trying to minimise interventions in the cellar. The result is wines that have purity and clarity, not having been overwhelmed by extensive barrel ageing.
