We have been following this property for several vintages, this 2018 being once again a beautifully balanced wine, offering superb value for money. Owned by the Courselle family, the 5 hectare vineyard commands fine views over the river Garonne. Here, 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc are planted on terraces of deep gravels above fine calcareous clay subsoil. This 2018 is a brilliant ruby colour, having fine, ripely perfumed aromas of black fruits and violet. The palate is medium bodied, with luscious texture, good stuffing, vibrant fruit and fine structure. This wine exudes class and is perfect for immediate drinking.
