Jean-Baptiste acquired these vines on his father’s retirement and has been making this rare, white Aloxe-Corton since the 2018 vintage. The vines were planted in 1942, so are 80 years old. Situated downhill from Corton-Charlemagne the plot has again produced a stunningly well-balanced wine of real distinction, which aged in 20% new barrels. Colour is green-golden, aromas are bright, fresh and open. The palate has exceptional richness, fruit intensity and length (for drinking 2024-2026+).
